What you will need
- Bialetti pour over coffee maker
- Mug that provides a sturdy base
- 20-25g of medium-fine ground coffee of your choice
- 10-12 fl. oz. of filtered water
- Gooseneck kettle for precise pour
- Cone or fan shaped #2 filter
- Scale for measuring gram weight of coffee and water
- Coffee scoop
Brewing directions
- Place any #2 paper filter into your Bialetti pour over coffee maker. For cone shaped filter fold along seam (see figure 1). For fan shaped, fold bottom to a point (see figure 2).
- Place coffee maker on cup. Rinse filter with hot water and discard water in cup.
- Place coffee grounds into filter and level our the grounds by gently shaking the brewer. Medium-fine grind recommended, 20-25 grams for 10-12 fl. oz. of water (see figure 3).
- Remove boiling water from burner and wait for the water to stop boiling (approx. 200 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Pour hot water into the center of the grounds slowly moving outward in a circular motion until all grounds are submerged (see figure 4).
- Wait for all water to move through the grounds and filter (approx.. 20 seconds) and then repeat steps 5 and 6 2-3 more times, until the desired amount of coffee is in the cup below.

- Do not use abrasive sponges, detergents, or steel wool.
Helpful hints
- For best results use medium to fine grind coffee beans.
- Store coffee grounds or beans in freezer to maintain taste and quality.
- Grind coffee beans immediately before brewing each time for a better fresher taste.
- Brew with filtered water.
- Use thermometer and scale for exact measurements.
